Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of Saarah.ai. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use it.
What this is — and what it is not
Saarah.ai is a working tool for founders. saarah transcribes and reads across your customer conversations, drafts artefacts from that evidence, and keeps your decision log. It is offered to help you do your own work, with your own judgement.
It is not advice, and must not be used as a substitute for it. Nothing here is legal, financial, tax, accounting or other professional advice. saarah labels her statements as evidence or inference, exposes the sources behind them, and will name what needs a lawyer or an accountant — but a draft is a draft. Do not act on one where a qualified person should be consulted. She proposes; every decision in your business remains yours.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. One account per person.
Your account
- Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep them current.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. Changing your password in Settings is the fastest response.
What you may not do
- Break the law, or use the service to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone.
- Attempt to reach another person’s account, workspace or evidence.
- Probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on, or work around rate limits or security measures.
- Record or upload a conversation without the agreement of the people in it, or mark a source with a consent state they did not give.
Your workspace, and the people in it
Your Talk thread, evidence, artefacts and decisions belong to you and are private to your account. You grant us only the permission needed to store them, process them on your behalf — transcription, reading across sources, drafting — and show them back to you.
The people you interview did not sign up to this service. You are responsible for telling them how their words will be used and for setting the consent state on each source honestly. We record that consent state at capture and honour it in every artefact and export, and if an interviewee asks for their words to be removed, deleting the source removes every quote bound to it. How we handle their information is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Our content
The design, software, prompts and arrangement of Saarah.ai belong to Deckster Pty Ltd or its licensors. You may use them to use the service; you may not copy or redistribute them wholesale. What saarah drafts from your own evidence is yours.
Availability
The service is provided as it is, and as it happens to be available. It may change, break, be interrupted for maintenance, or be discontinued. Features may be added or removed. Please keep your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose — Settings will download everything held about you.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which removes it and everything attached to it immediately and permanently. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement. Where the ACL applies and the failure is not one of a major kind, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: Deckster Pty Ltd is not liable for any decision you make in reliance on a draft, an inference or a proposal, or for indirect or consequential loss. saarah shows her working so that you can check it; checking it is your part.
Privacy
How your information is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of that place have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be noted here and the date at the foot of the page updated. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the updated terms.
